Labor Requirements Update - Electronic Data Collection - Purpose
SF127E
The Labor Requirements Update - Electronic Data Collection program (SF127E) allows you to perform asynchronous updates of existing records on the Labor Requirements file (IC125M) by recording movement of materials and time spent on the shop floor. Time may be recorded for machines or employees, in crews or as individuals.
Two options specified on the Shop Floor Control Record on the System Control file (CT100M) can affect the processing of this program. You may choose to report time as a decimal number of hours, or as from- and to-times. If specified, this program performs automatic move and receive balancing between consecutive operations in an order. If this option is chosen, the ability to perform manual adjustments is also retained.
