Code

Description

Purpose

SAVLLC

Low Level Code of the Next Part to Be Processed

Used to preserve the low level code value of the part being processed by RP for comparison purposes.

SAVPTP

Production Type Code of the Next Part to Be Processed

Used to preserve the production type code (1-MRP or 2-JIT) of the part being processed by RP, to determine which program, RP100E or RP105E should process the part.

SAVJCF

Job Control flag of the Next Part to be Processed

Used to preserve the job control flag (Y,N) of the part being processed by RP, to determine which program, RP105E or RP106E, should process the part.

SAVMB

Make/Buy flag of the Next Part to be Processed

Used to indicate whether a manufactured part will have manufacturing orders (make) or purchasing requisitions (buy) generated by RP.

PMPLNT

Plant Code of the Next Part to Be Processed

Used to indicate the plant in which RP is currently planning.

SAVTYP

Part Type Code of the Next Part to Be Processed

Used to preserve the part type of the part being processed by RP, to determine which program should process the part, and what type of supply should be generated.

SAVPRT

Part Number of the Next Part to Be Processed

Used to hold the part number currently being processed.

DMDHOR

RP Actual Demand Horizon

Used to determine a demand horizon within which certain types of demand forecast will be ignored.

SAVRPM

RP Run Mode (A - Actual, S - Simulation)

Used to indicate whether RP is being run for the current part in either actual or simulated mode.

SIMOPN

Yes/No flag

Used to determine whether simulated supply/demand files should be opened for processing.
