Shop Paperwork Generation - Purpose

The Shop Paperwork Generation program (IC580E) generates the Manufacturing Order and the Picking List reports. These reports are requested through the Manufacturing Order Maintenance program (IC100E), the Manufacturing Order Release program (IC200E), or the Shop Paperwork Request program (IC320E). The MO shows the components requirements and the operations required to complete the order and the options associated with each item. If the manufacturing order is requested, the Expert Configurator (EC) module is installed, and the order is configured, this program will call the Comments Generated Report program (EC530E) to print any EC manufactured-generated comments for the order. The Pick List report contains the components, the quantity to be picked, and the stocking locations.
The picking list report is printed with or without barcodes, depending on the value of the barcode option on the Reference File, category C57.
