General Ledger Post - Purpose
GL200P
The General Ledger Post program (GL200P) posts transactions from the Valid Journal Transaction file to the Account/Center Master file for locations selected through the General Ledger Post Request conversation. Before processing the post, the program checks to ensure that the required files can be allocated and that the account file is in synch with the last year and period posted. If any of these conditions are not met, an error message is printed on the post report.
