Current Budgets
Current Budgets
Budget Master File records are kept on separate file within the system. All budget reports including the budget worksheets, budget comparison reports, budget financial statements, and budget responsibility reports are prepared using this file. Standard financial statements, responsibility reports, and analysis reports are prepared using amounts from a budget that is specified on Reference File category 134. If a budget will be used to prepare financial statements, responsibility reports, or analysis reports, the budget year/sequence must first be specified on the Reference File. If such a record has not been set up, budget account balances default to zero. The current budget year/sequence can be changed at any time.
