Initial Data Setup
Before using the Job Control module, you need to make several decisions. You must decide what parts will be job controlled, whether job numbers will be assigned automatically, and what codes you will use to track job status. You may also wish to set up project manager codes and job groups on the Reference File. Project managers and job groups can be defined at any time. They can be assigned to a job when the job is set up or at any time after that.
