Maintaining Inbound Transactions

The Electronic Data Interchange application receives data to be processed by MAC-PAC through inbound transactions. These transactions must be sent from an EDI compatible customer or vendor.</p>
<p>
Similar processing is done for each inbound EDI transaction: EDI sales order creation, EDI purchase order acknowledgment update, EDI receipts. Each inbound transaction is listed can be done asynchronously or in batch mode. Procedures for performing these functions are outlined below.</p>
