Transfer Control Transfer Order Maintenance - Purpose
TC100E
The Transfer Control Transfer Order Maintenance program (TC100E) controls the creation and maintenance of transfer lines on a transfer order. A transfer order consists of a header, lines, and comments. Transfer order lines can be logically linked to multiple requisition lines. Lines can be selected and maintained in regard to their status. If no line statuses are entered, lines are displayed regardless of status. The addition and detachment of requisition lines from transfer order lines is controlled by VVTC910EW.
When reserving inventory for a transfer order line, reservations/allocations (depending on relief code) are made at the supplying warehouse. The warehouse balance on order quantity is updated at the receiving warehouse. If a warehouse balance record does not exist for the item at the receiving warehouse then IC225E is called to write a new warehouse balance record.
The Transfer Order Maintenance program updates all files online (real time). Therefore, the master files always contain the most current information.
The Transfer Order Inquiry program (TC800E) can be entered via command key from the Transfer Order Maintenance Function Select screen (TC100S01). The Warehouse Stock Status program (IC870E) can be entered via command key from the Transfer Order Maintenance Multi-Line screen (TC100S04).
