Workcenter Performance Report - Purpose
SF540E
The Workcenter Performance Report program (SF540E) prints the Workcenter Performance Efficiency (SF540A), Utilization (SF540B), and Summary (SF540C) reports. The user specifies in the Shop Floor Report Retrieval Request program (SF310E) whether an efficiency report, a utilization report, or both will be printed for one specific, or for every, non-miscellaneous cost workcenter that has records on the audit trail file. The user also specifies whether a summary report of all workcenters with records on the audit trail file will be printed.
The Workcenter Performance Report program reads the audit trail sequentially and prints the performance information of non-crew operations within non-miscellaneous cost workcenters. The efficiency report (SF540A) lists each operation's earned and reported hours, efficiency percent, and manning variance (for machine-paced workcenters). The utilization report (SF540B) lists each operation's direct, indirect, setup and total hours reported and the direct, indirect and setup percentages. The machine or employee totals, shift totals and workcenter totals are listed for both reports.
The summary report (SF540C) lists the actual and expected utilization and efficiency percentages for each workcenter. It highlights any difference between the actual and expected amount above or equal to the percentage specified by the user in the Report Retrieval Request program (SF310E). If any exception conditions are encountered, the exception report (SF540D) is printed.
