RP520A

Requirements Planning Generation Request

The Requirements Planning Generation Report Request contains the parameters that were used to control the Requirements Planning Generation programs, RP100E and RP105E.  Default commodity code options are also listed.  This report, along with the Requirement Planning Print Parameters report (RP520B) and the Planning Action report (RP520C), is printed upon request.  It can be run in either simulation or actual mode.

RP520B

Requirements Planning Print Parameters

The Requirements Planning Print Parameters report shows all commodity codes that have print parameters from Reference File category D03.  The print parameter control is what will cause the Planning Action report to be written.

RP520C

Planning Action for MRP Parts

The Planning Action report lists either the simulated or actual calculated results of the Requirements Planning Generation program (RP100E).  This report provides the following information for each part: descriptive part information, time-phased detail of all requirements and orders, s projected inventory level adjusted by existing requirements and supply orders, order action messages to suggest a response to an inventory surplus or shortage, a resulting inventory level if an order action is initiated, and a listing of all unscheduled purchase orders and the quantity remaining to be scheduled.

Each requirement is pegged to its corresponding parent part/customer number and order.

If the Job Control module is installed and the part is job controlled, the report also lists the job-related information (job number, group number, beginning inventory for job, etc.).  Otherwise these fields do not appear.

RP520C

Planning Action for JIT Parts

The Planning Action report lists either the simulated or actual calculated results of the Requirements Planning Generation program (RP100E).  This report provides the following information for each part: descriptive part information, time-phased detail of all requirements and supply, a projected inventory level adjusted by existing requirements and supply, order action messages to suggest a response to maintained production if a surplus or shortage will occur, and a resulting inventory level if the suggested order action is initiated.

Each requirement is pegged to its origin.
