VDA Release File Reorganization After Schedule Confirm - Purpose
RS222E2
The VDA Release File Reorganization After Schedule Confirm program (RS222E2) reorganizes the purchase order releases according to the scheduled periods retrieved from the currently effective endorsement. Each time a VDA confirmed schedule is printed, all releases are processed according to the information stored in file RS222AP.
This program also processes the Purchase Order Line file (PO180M2) using the information found in RS222AP. For a specific purchase order line, an effective endorsement is retrieved. If the endorsement is valid, then all corresponding order releases (PO180M3) are processed.
According to the scheduled periods, the delivery and best dock dates retrieved or calculated from the endorsement file and the following operations are performed for every P.O. order release of the order line being processed:
· Delete releases that have dock dates in the past and are fully received. Only releases which are fully received and are older than one month (28 days) are deleted. To switch back to standard lead time, comment out the 28 and initialize the delay field with MLTPU (from DE100M).
· Update P.O. releases with the best dock date, if necessary.
· Delete P.O. releases with the same dock dates and create a new release with the total accumulated quantity.
· Fix P.O. releases with the dock dates inside the fixing period.
· Update the VDA RS Part Firm Horizon Date (on both DE100M and RP100AP1) according to the last fixed P.O. release date.
· Update the P.O. Order Line file with the current number of total and active releases, and the current ordered and received quantities.
