VDA Redistribution of Received Quantities Over Releases - Purpose

The VDA Redistribution of Received Quantities Over Releases program (RS222E3) redistributes the P.O. received quantity over existing releases and updates the current received quantities on the P.O. Order Line file (PO180M2), if necessary. Every VDA purchase order release for a specific purchase order line is processed in ascending dock date order.
This program runs in two modes: 'RPSLCT' and 'RSSLCT'. In the first mode, 'RPSLCT', order releases are processed only for VDA RS parts selected by the previous RP run. In this mode, the program is called from the RPGENCLP jobstream, wherein a check to Reference File category G52 determines if at least one plant is processing VDA logic for RS parts.
In the second mode, 'RSSLCT', order releases are processed only for VDA RS parts whose schedules for vendors need to be processed either in confirmed or draft mode. In the 'RSSLCT' mode, the program is called from the RS Schedule Confirmation process.
