RS VDA Plant Processing Check - Purpose
RS090E
The RS VDA Plant Processing Check program (RS090E) is called from the RPGENCLP program to determine if at least one plant is processing VDA logic and outbound messaging for VDA Repetitive Supply parts. The program checks Reference File category G52 to determine if at least one plant is operating in RS VDA processing mode. If true, a value of 'Y' (YES) for the VDAFLG parameter will be returned to the calling program, and the VDA specific programs (RS222CLP1 and RS222CLP3) will be called. This parameter feeds into the RS Endorsement Allocation program (RS220E) and helps control its processing as well.
In addition, this program is also called by the RSBATCH calling program (CLP) to determine whether RS632CLP (RS632E), the RS VDA Schedule Generation/Report, should be called if the VDAFLG is equal to 'Y' (YES).
