Standard Cost Update - Purpose

The Standard Cost Update program (PC120E) performs either a full standard cost and workcenter rate update on the Part Master file (DE100M) and the Workcenter file (ME100M) or a selective standard cost update on the Part Master file. The user specifies the type of update using the Product Costing Run Parameter Maintenance program (PC130E). For a full update, the Workcenter and Part Master files are read sequentially until end of file. For a selective update, only the Part Master File records with rollover flags on are processed. The standard cost fields are updated with the values of the corresponding current cost fields.
