Simulated Cost Rollover - Purpose

The Simulated Cost Rollover program (PC125E) performs either a full simulated cost and workcenter rate rollover on the Part Master file (DE100M) and the Workcenter file (ME100M) or a selective simulated cost rollover on the Part Master file. The user specifies the type of update using the Product Costing Run Parameter Maintenance program (PC130E). For a full update, the Part Master and Workcenter files are read sequentially until the end of the files. For a selective update, only the Part Master File records with rollover flags on are processed. Either the current or standard cost fields are updated with the values of the corresponding simulated cost fields, depending on the type of rollover specified by the user.
