Planning Horizon Date Calculation - Purpose

The Planning Horizon Date Calculation program (MS090E) calculates the date after which a forecast will be considered in the master scheduling and available to promise calculations. Before that date only actual orders are considered. The demand fence date is calculated from the system date and the actual demand fence lead time. The calculation varies for weeks, months, and periods.
