Master Scheduling Planning Definition Update - Purpose

The Master Scheduling Planning Definition Update program (MS050E) is used to automatically update the planning periods for a particular calendar code. The program displays a select screen on which the user may enter a calendar code. If the calendar is valid, the program recalculates the existing planning period definition by making the first period starting date equal to the current week start date and all remaining period start dates equal to the number of weeks in the corresponding period mask bucket after the preceding period start date. The user then has the option to either accept the calculated planning period definition, modify the definition, or exit without saving the definition.
This program is called directly from the Master Scheduling Application Menu.
