Master Scheduling Period Mask Definition - Purpose

The Master Scheduling Period Mask Definition program (MS020E) is used to define period masks for use in the Planning Period Definition Update program (MS050E). Each mask represents the number of weeks which should be contained in the sixty periods in the planning definition for a particular calendar code. Once the mask is defined, instead of manually updating the planning definition dates, the user may simply run the Planning Period Definition Update program to recalculate them.
This program is called directly from the Master Scheduling Application Menu.
