Master Scheduling Master File Purge - Purpose

The Master Scheduling Master File Purge program (MS040E) deletes records selected by date from the Production Plan (MS120M), Projected Demand (MS150M) and Tentative Master Schedule (MS160M) master files.
The Master Scheduling Master File program is entered from the System File Support Menu when the Reorganize Option is selected for one of the above-mentioned files. The user selects a file and enters a Horizon Date. The program deletes all the records containing a date value less than or equal to this Horizon Date. An audit trail report is printed listing all deleted records.
