Master Scheduling Action Report - Purpose

The Master Scheduling Action Report program (MS540E) prints the Master Scheduling Action report (MS540), which contains the results of the Master Schedule Rollover program (MS180E).  The Master Schedule Rollover program rolls the tentative master schedule into the current schedule.  Planned manufacturing orders, purchase and transfer requisitions are automatically updated, being changed, added, or deleted where required, but action is only suggested against firm or open manufacturing and firm and released purchase or transfer requisitions.  The Master Scheduling Action report details the resulting schedule after the rollover by part, showing what planned orders have been added or changed, and indicates suggested actions to firm or open manufacturing orders/requisitions.  For more information, see the Master Schedule Rollover program (MS180E) and/or the JIT Master Schedule Rollover program (MS185E).
