Key Facility Load Report - Purpose

The Key Facility Load Report program (MS520E) provides the user with a rough-cut capacity planning capability for each key facility over the next 65 weeks. The load will be calculated based on either the current schedule (manufacturing orders and flow authorizations) or the tentative master schedule, depending on the option chosen by the user in the Master Scheduling Batch Update/Report Request program (MS310E).
For each key facility, planned routings are accessed and the total load in each week is accumulated. The effective capacity, load percent, available hours, cumulative load, and cumulative available hours for the week are also determined. The weekly load is compared with the weekly capacity, and over-capacity weeks are highlighted. All warning errors flagged in the Planned Routing Generation program (MS140E) are printed for the key facility.
