Key Facility Load Detail Report - Purpose
MS550E
The Key Facility Load Detail Report program (MS550E) prints the Key Facility Load Detail report. The report lists all parts followed by all orders or flow authorizations (FAs) that contribute load to the key facility within a selected period. The user may specify whether the load be based on the current or the tentative schedule. This program is processed when requested from the Key Facility Load Detail Request Screen or as an option chosen on the Key Facility Load Request Screen.
Load is calculated by accessing the planned routings which relate to each key facility. The planned routing is a summary of all load placed on the key facility through all levels of the bill of material for one unit of a master scheduled or service part. The facility load is calculated by multiplying load per unit by the order quantity of a manufacturing order or flow authorization, or service part demand which falls in the requested period.
Note: Service part demand includes demand from parent parts as well as direct demand from customer orders and forecast. However, service part demand load which results from parent part demand is processed when the master scheduled parent part is processed. Therefore, in order to avoid the double-counting of service part demand load associated with parent parts, the program processes only customer orders and forecasts when calculating load from service parts.
