Just-In-Time Master Schedule Rollover - Purpose

The Just-In-Time Master Schedule Rollover program (MS185E) is called by the Master Schedule Rollover program (MS180E) to process JIT-manufactured, build-thru, and standard master scheduled transfer parts. It reads the tentative master schedule (a series of weekly quantities) and compares it to the current master schedule. Where they do not agree for transfer requisitions, planned requisitions are updated or action messages for released requisitions are output to the user. For flow authorizations, the scheduled quantities are automatically changed outside of the firm horizon. Within the firm horizon, action messages are generated when the scheduled quantities do not equal the tentative master schedule. The objective is to implement the tentative master schedule.
