Routing Maintenance - Online - Purpose

The Routing Maintenance - Online program (ME120E) maintains the Routing file (ME120M) in Online Update mode. This program allows primary, alternate, and comment operations to be maintained for subsequent use in the detailed scheduling of operations within the Shop Floor Control module and within the Capacity.
Current master file values are displayed when change transactions are entered. Report records are written each time the Routing file is updated in order to record data base activity by part number (File Maintenance Audit Trail) and to track transaction entry by reference number (Transaction Register).
