Miscellaneous Costs Maintenance - Purpose
ME160E
The Miscellaneous Costs Maintenance program (ME160E) allows the user to enter miscellaneous costs for each part at an outside processed workcenter (a workcenter with number greater than or equal to 900). Multiple cost elements can be specified at the detail level. The cost associated with each of the elements is "rolled up" into the total cost for the part at the workcenter. The total is stored on the Miscellaneous Cost Header file (ME160M1), together with a rate code, which indicates whether the total represents material, labor, or overhead, and whether it is fixed or variable. The individual cost elements are stored on the Miscellaneous Cost Detail file (ME160M2).
