Manufacturing Engineering File Create - Purpose
ME010E
The Manufacturing Engineering File Create program (ME010E) initializes master files in the Manufacturing Engineering application. The user specifies the file to be created on the File Support Menu. The files are physically created during the initial compilation routine of the installation procedure, but cannot be used until they are initialized by this program. A parameter indicating which master file is to be created is passed from the calling control language program. A physical file control record is output as is a data base control record. If this program detects an error condition, the applicable code and message are displayed to the user on the File Support Menu.
