Copy Routing - Asynchronous - Purpose

The Copy Routing - Asynchronous program (ME130E) processes copy routing requests that were entered in the Routing File Maintenance program (ME120E). The Copy Routing program copies records on the Routing file (ME120M) from one manufacturing part to another. The program operates in asynchronous mode only.
Report records are written every time a record is written to the Routing file in order to record data base activity by part number (File Maintenance Audit Trail) and to track transaction entry by reference number (Transaction Register).
