Part/Production Center Relationship Maintenance - Purpose

The Part/Production Center Relationship Maintenance program (JT160E) adds, changes, and deletes relationships between parts and production centers for a specified plant on the Part/Production Center Relationship file (JT160M).  All transactions are entered and validated online.  A valid transaction is posted to the Part/Production Center Relationship file (JT160M) and an accompanying record is written to the Audit Trail file (JT160BP).  Records are also written to these files when a part is added to or changed on the Part Master file (DE100M).  The record written from the Part Master file becomes the default record for the part on the Part/Production Center Relationship file (JT160M).

Transactions with errors are redisplayed to the user with the erroneous fields highlighted.  Accompanying error messages are also displayed for each invalid field.
