Machine Time Recording - Audit Trail Generation - Purpose
JT210E
The Machine Time Recording - Audit Trail Generation program (JT210E) allows the user to perform Machine Time Recording for a given plant in a Just-in-Time (JIT) environment. This program can be used only if the time recording option (RC11TO) on the JIT System Defaults is equal to Y. The Machine Time Recording transactions will be later processed by Inventory Accounting (IA). All transactions are written out to either the JIT Shop Reporting Audit Trail file (JT200BP1) or the JIT Indirect Hours Audit Trail file (JT200BP2). The program has two modes: online (for transactions entered on the screen) and asynchronous (for transactions entered through Electronic Data Collection). If there are any invalid transactions, and the program is running online, the subfile page of the first transaction in error and a corresponding error message are displayed. If the program is processing an Electronic Data Collection (EDC) transaction and there is an error, that transaction is flagged as an error and the Transaction file is updated. After all of the transactions have been validated, their respective files are updated.
