Flow Receipts to FA - Online - Purpose
JT120E
The Flow Receipts to FA - Online program (JT120E) allows entry of receipt transactions to report production for Just-in-Time (JIT) parts. The receipt transaction is validated online. If the part does not have scheduled production, and if the part schedule is enabled to be maintained (depending on part status in Reference File category D88), a flow authorization is created for the part entered on the screen with an FAQTY = 0, and a status of firmed. Flow requirements are also created for each of the part's components. The transaction is then written to an asynchronous transaction file if valid. A message is sent to a queue that calls the Flow Receipts/Issues program (JT125E) to process the transactions asynchronously. This program is linked by F9 to the Inventory Stock Status Inquiry program (IC820E).
The Mass Entry Screen is designed to enter flow receipts in a bar coding environment. However, it can be used in any other environment. In the Mass Entry transaction, the flow receipts can be grouped and processed every 60 seconds by the JIT Group Monitor (started with the JIT Monitor) or processed only when the user requests it. In that case, the user can also review flow receipts entered during the current Mass Entry transaction, and change some values. He can also consolidate the flow receipts so that he can see how many items he has received during the current Mass Entry transaction.
