SRA and Stock Transfers - Purpose
IC120E
The SRA and Stock Transfers program (IC120E) facilitates the adjustment of inventory balances and the movement of stock between inventory locations for all parts in inventory. Balance quantities for each part are updated and/or added to the Multiple Location (IC130M) and Warehouse Balance (IC140M) files. Current and year-to-date cycle count information is maintained on the Warehouse Balance and Warehouse Description (IC170M) files.
For moving average costed company/warehouses and for nonstandard parts, the moving average unit cost and part value on the Warehouse Balance file are also maintained. For standard costed warehouses (except for the manufacturing warehouse), the standard unit cost is maintained. Inventory adjustments and movements can be made in both lot-controlled and non-lot-controlled environments.
In a job-controlled environment, inventory can be transferred to/from valid job and group inventory if the part is job-controlled.
