Point of Use Stock Transfer - Purpose

The Point of Use Stock Transfer program (IC270E) allows you to transfer parts from one location in a warehouse to other locations in the same warehouse. For reversals, the program allows you to transfer parts from many locations to one location. Multiple location records need not exist in order to transfer parts from or to them--they are created dynamically. For each transfer, the multiple location, warehouse balance, and part master records, as well as audit trails and transaction registers, are updated.
You may enter the Inventory Stock Status Inquiry program (IC820E) from any screen by pressing F9 - Enter Inquiry.
