Manufacturing Order Release - Purpose
IC200E
The Manufacturing Order Release program (IC200E) permits the display, review, and release of firm and planned manufacturing orders within the order release horizon, as well as the firming of planned manufacturing orders within the order release horizon. You can request displays of all orders or only those orders with no shortage problems for the following selection criteria:
· For a specific planner code
· For a specific order status
You may specify the orders to be released or release all orders that do not have shortage problems. A record for each order is written to the Manufacturing Order Release Transaction (IC200AP). One message is written to the Asynchronous Message Monitor. This monitor calls the Manufacturing Order Post program (IC102E), which processes the transactions asynchronously, releasing the selected orders.
