MO Receipt/Component Issues: Batch - Purpose

The MO Receipt/Component Issues: Batch program (IC135E) is an off-line program that processes manufacturing order receipt and component issue transactions in the Batch Transaction file (IC125AL). For manufacturing order receipts, the Manufacturing Order, Multiple Location, Warehouse Balance, Lot Control, Configuration Code, and Part Master files are updated. For component issues, the Component Requirements, Multiple Location, Warehouse Balance, Lot Control, Configuration Code, and Part Master files are updated.
This program includes commitment control. It reads a record in the Batch Transaction file, performs all necessary calculations, and, if successful, deletes the record. If an abort error occurs during processing, a rollback of all updated master files from the last commit point is made and the program is exited. If a critical error occurs during processing, a rollback is performed, the transaction skipped, and processing continues. All master files with updates are now under commitment control as are Component Issue/MO Receipt audit trails (IC130BP) and Lot Control audit trails (IC150BP).
