Lot Control Purge - Purpose
IC050E
The Lot Control Purge program (IC050E) performs two functions. It sequentially reads a logical view of the Lot Control file (IC150ML3) and physically deletes lot control records if they meet the following criteria:
· A location record for the lot control record does not exist on the logical Multiple Location file (IC130ML3).
· The lot close date for the lot control record is less than or equal to the horizon date.
The program will also delete Configuration Assignment records from the Configuration Assignment file (EC170M) if they meet the following criteria:
· All Audit Trail records in IC120BP1, IC120BP2, IC120BP3, IC130BP, IC140BP, and IC190BP have been processed by Inventory Accounting for the Part Number/Lot Number combination.
· If the Manufacturing Order number on the Configuration Assignment record is not blank, that Manufacturing Order must no longer exist on the Manufacturing Order file (IC100M).
· The Lot Close Date on the Lot Control file (IC150M) must be less than the Horizon Date.
If they exist, the program will also delete lot comment records from the Comments Master file (CF190M) that are associated with the lot being purged. This progressing depends on the result of the previous processing.
This program is called from the System File Support Menu, where the horizon date is entered. The Control Language program that calls the Lot Control Purge program reorganizes the master files after the program finishes.
