The Inventory Transaction History Purge program (IC020E) sequentially reads a logical view of the Audit Trail Transactions file (IC020AL), which contains the records of the following transactions:  manufacturing order receipts/component issues; lot control maintenance; purchase order receipts; shipments/returns/adjustments and stock transfers; manufacturing order maintenance; component requirements maintenance; sales order header, line, and comment maintenance; customer order shipments/returns/adjustments; labor requirements; purchase order receipts; stock transfer "from" and "to"; warehouse description address data, descriptive data, and cycle count data maintenance; and warehouse balance cycle count data, descriptive data, and sales data maintenance; flow receipts; back flush issues, lot issues, deduct issues, and unplanned usage issues; point of use transfer "from" and "to" audit trail.

The program deletes eligible audit trail records if they fall within the horizon date, which is entered in the System File Support Menu (Option 3, File 27).  The control language program that calls the Inventory Transaction History Purge program reorganizes the transaction history files after the program finishes.
