Inventory Stock Status Inquiry - Purpose
IC820E
The Inventory Stock Status Inquiry program (IC820E) displays all the existing inventory for the part in stock location/lot number order. If you inquire about the manufacturing company/warehouse, the manufacturing detail screen is displayed. If a distributing company/warehouse is requested, the distribution detail screen is displayed.
Note: This program uses a MAC-PAC Fast Path data structure field (FPCPN) to jointly carry Stock Location and Lot Number to Inventory Transaction History, and Stock Location to Location Status Inquiry when selecting a subfile record via the Fast Path function key. Normally this field is used for a part number, but 'FPITEM' is effectively used for that purpose.
