Inventory Location Status Inquiry - Purpose

The Inventory Location Status Inquiry program (IC850E) displays lot number and quantity balances for all parts at a requested stock location. The program processes online inquiries into the Part Availability file to determine the status of a particular part based upon its part requirements, manufacturing orders, purchase orders, and customer orders. The part availability records that meet the parameters are then accumulated and aged to show the quantity of a part used and the shortage conditions that result.
