Unplanned Material Usage Error Maintenance - Purpose
BC170E
The Unplanned Material Usage Error Maintenance program (BC170E) prompts you to enter a transaction reference ID. An error-flagged transaction from the Unplanned Usage file (JT170DP) is then displayed if you are authorized to the plant. Transactions are validated using online field validation similar to the Unplanned Usage Recording program (JT170E). If an invalid plant is displayed on the screen, an error message will also be displayed and the plant field will be highlighted and input capable. Once a valid plant is displayed, the plant field is protected and you cannot change the plant field for that transaction. When a valid record is entered, a message is sent to the Just-in-Time monitor to submit the transaction to the Unplanned Usage Recording program (JT170E) off-line.
