Part Master Reorganization - Purpose

The Part Master Reorganization program (DE020E) physically deletes inactive records on the Part Master file (DE100M) that are eligible for deletion. The program reads the Part Master file (DE100M) sequentially, checking parts that have been flagged as inactive as available for deletion. If the part has a warehouse balance or inventory accounting records that have not been processed, it is not deleted. This program should be run periodically.
