Part Master Inquiry - Purpose

The Part Master Inquiry program (DE800E) displays all the user-maintainable fields for a specific part on the Part Master file (DE100M). This program is linked to the Part Master Maintenance program (DE100E) by command key. From the Detail screen, you have the options of using Fast Path processing, maintaining the part using Part Master Maintenance, or returning to the Function Select screen to select another part.
The update routine may also be entered from the Function Select screen. In this instance, control will pass to that routine without passing a part number. Fast Path processing may also be entered from the Function Select screen. You may also enter this inquiry program from other inquiries.
