Part Costs Maintenance - Purpose

The Part Costs Maintenance program (DE105E) is used to define cost information for a part. Detailed cost elements can be maintained, as well as cost generation and updates flags and an average order quantity.
Using predefined cost codes, users can define different types and costs for a part. Each cost may be accumulated as either a material, a labor, or an overhead cost.
The program maintains the Part Costs file, based on the cost elements entered. It also maintains total cost fields, which are summations of the detailed cost elements, on the Part Master file.
