The DE Retrieval Request program (DE310E) allows the entry and validation of all Design Engineering report request transactions. These report requests are for Bill of Material, Reference Bill and Routing, and Pending Product Change reports. All valid transactions are written to the Bill of Material Transaction program (DE310AP), the Reference Bill and Routing Transaction program (DE310BP), or the Pending Product Change Transaction program (DE310CP).
The types of bill of material requests are single-level explosion, indented explosion, summarized explosion, single-level where-used explosion, indented where-used explosion and summarized where-used explosion. For single-level explosion and indented explosion, the user can specify whether comments should be printed on the report. The types of reference bill and routing requests are master bill of material, reference routings, reference bill and routing, bill of material with product structure flag, routings with routing flag, bill of material and routings with flags, and bill of material, routings or both for a selected part. Pending product change requests have only one transaction type.
