Bill of Material Text Maintenance - Purpose

The Bill of Material Text Maintenance program (DE215E) is used to maintain bill of material text. Users can add up to 99 lines of text per part, 55 characters per line. From the detail screen, the program may perform the following processing:
· The sequence numbers on the text lines may be changed. The program will resequence the lines if F18 is pressed.
· Text may be copied from another part.
· Text may be renumbered by a larger increment, so that multiple lines may be inserted into the text.
· Lines of text may be deleted if an X is entered in the D field and Enter is pressed.
When the user presses F19 to indicate that maintenance is complete, the program updates the BOM Comment Transaction file (DE215M).
