CONBON Card Print - Purpose
CB540E
The CONBON Card Print program (CB540E) determines from the CONBON request files and analysis files the number of cards and information to be printed on the CON, one-time, BON, and single-cards. It can be called directly from the Manual Card Print Request program to print a production center's cards or submitted directly to batch to print all pending cards.
First, the information is retrieved from either the Automatic Card Request file (CB330AP) or the Manual Card Request file (CB340AP). The corresponding analysis file(s) are retrieved. Any information not found on these files will be retrieved from the Part Master file (DE100M) or the Revision Level file (DE170ML2). After the card is printed, the last print date on the corresponding analysis file is updated, the card count fields are updated on the Part Master file and CONBON Card Count Work file (CB540AP). The request files are cleared as they are processed.
If any warnings or critical errors are encountered, they are printed on the CONBON Card Print Exception report (CB540A).
