Bill of Documents Mass Maintenance (Async) - Purpose

The Bill of Documents - Mass Maintenance (Async) program (BD220E) maintains the Document Structure file (BD120M) by asynchronously processing transactions in the Document Structure Asynchronous Transaction file (BD120DP). Records are placed in this file by the online Document Structure Maintenance program (BD120M). All mass maintenance is plant-specific. For each valid maintenance transaction, an audit trail record is written to the Document Structure Audit file (BD120BL). Records are also written to the Document Structure Transaction Register file (BD120CL) for valid transactions and the Transaction Errors file (BD545AP) for transactions with errors.
