Stock Transfers and Price Variance Report - Purpose

The Stock Transfers and Price Variance Report program (IA540E) generates the Stock Transfers and Price Variance Detail by Receiving Warehouse report (IA540A). This report lists all transfers of inventory between two warehouses. Stock transfer transactions are read from the Inventory Journal Entry file (IA540AL), and the transfer cost, receipt value, and price variance are calculated for each transaction record. The Stock Transfers and Price Variance Report Request Exceptions report (IA540B) prints an error message for any exceptions that occur during processing.
