Manufacturing Warehouse Account Activity Report - Purpose

The Manufacturing Warehouse Account Activity Report program (IA505E) creates three reports: the Manufacturing Warehouse Account Detail Activity report (IA505A), the Manufacturing Warehouse Account Summary Activity report (IA505B) and the Manufacturing Warehouse Account Activity Exception report (IA505C). These reports are created from journal entries from the Inventory Accounting Journal Entry file (IA505AL).
The journal entries are reported at the manufacturing order/part number level for each account/center within a company/location in a given fiscal period. The Detail Activity report records detail entries from Shop Floor, Manufacturing Order and Inventory journal entries. The Summary Activity report records accumulated total debits and credits at the account/center level. The Exception report prints an error message for any exceptions that occur during processing.
This program is called from the Manufacturing Warehouse Account Activity Report Request Screen (IA320S06). It is normally executed after a period-end close to provide additional audit trail support to the General Ledger Distribution reports (IA500A and IA500B).
