Manufacturing Order Journal Entry Creation - Purpose

The Manufacturing Order Journal Entry Creation program (IA130E) processes manufacturing orders, determines variances and generates journal entries to reflect standard cost changes, miscellaneous cost, labor and burden costs, and variances. These journal entries are written on IA130AP (Manufacturing Order Journal Entry file). The Work-in-Process Summary report (IA130A) is printed to show standard cost changes, transaction order activity, variances, and beginning and ending work-in-process totals. The Manufacturing Order Processing Exception report (IA130B) prints an error message for any exceptions that occur during processing.
