General Ledger Detail by Account Report - Purpose

The General Ledger Detail by Account Report program (IA580E) generates the General Ledger Detail by Account report (IA580A), which lists journal entries contained in three files: Shop Floor Journal Entry file, Inventory Journal Entry file, and Manufacturing Order Journal Entry file. These files are all accessed through the same logical file (IA500AL). The report contains information for one company/location. The company/location, the range of account/centers included in the report, and the fiscal period covered by the report are specified by the user when the report is requested. Totals are calculated and printed for each part, account/center, and location.
